- Abstract
- This letter develops a new analytical model to estimate real-time variations in frequency and voltage in a microgrid (MG), resulting from network reconfiguration (NR). Switching operations are reflected in discrete variations in an MG admittance matrix, leading to step changes in dq-axis node injection currents. The injected current variations can readily be integrated with dynamic operations of distributed generators and voltage-dependent loads, enabling analysis of MG frequency and voltage responses to NR. Case studies are performed to validate the proposed model via comparisons with numerical simulators.
