dc.description.abstractPlasmon- resonant nanostars (NSTs) provide excellent contrast enhancement for photoacoustic tomography. The high photoacoustic sensitivity of NSTs at near-infrared wavelengths enables their in vivo detection in rat sentinel lymph nodes and vessels, with direct application toward lymphangiography.-
