- Abstract
- X-ray induced acoustic computed tomography (XACT) is an emerging biomedical imaging technique combining X-ray absorption contrast with high ultrasound resolution. In this study, we showed the potential of in vivo XACT imaging with a conventional X-ray contrast agent. The developed software based on a graphics processor unit reconstructed the 3D volumetric XACT images. We successfully acquired the 3D XACT image of the conventional X-ray contrast agent in biological tissues. ? COPYRIGHT SPIE. Downloading of the abstract is permitted for personal use only.
