블록체인을 이용한 CBDC 시스템 설계 및 구현

Abstract

We propose a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) system that uses blockchain, and can be used effectively in the traditional banking system. We explain the background and global trend of CBDC, and discuss various usage scenarios. We analyze the requirements of CBDC and suggest ways to broaden its use. Especially, we present a system design and implementation method that preserves compatibility, interoperability, and privacy. We achieve compatibility using a two-tier distribution model of CBDC and suggest an inter-blockchain protocol for interoperability in a scenario of CBDC cross-border payment. Furthermore, we propose methods to achieve on-chain and off-chain privacy, and evaluate the execution time and costs to confirm feasibility

블록체인을 활용하여 기존 은행 시스템에서 효과적으로 사용할 수 있는 CBDC(Central Bank Digital Currency) 시스템을 제안합니다. CBDC의 배경과 글로벌 동향을 설명하고 다양한 사용 시나리오를 논의합니다. 나아가, CBDC의 요구 사항을 분석하고 사용을 확장하는 방법을 제안합니다. 특히 호환성, 상호 운용성 및 개인 정보를 보호하는 시스템 설계 및 구현 방법을 제시합니다. CBDC의 2계층 분배 모델을 사용하여 호환성을 달성하고 CBDC 국경 간 지불 시나리오에서 상호 운용성을 위한 블록체인 간 프로토콜을 제안합니다. 또한, 온체인 및 오프체인 프라이버시를 달성하기 위한 방법을 제안하고 실행 시간과 비용을 평가하여 실행 가능성을 확인합니다.
