- Abstract
- The linearity performance of an all-optical frequency upconverter utiltizing four-wave mixing (FWM) is investigated in a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA). The upconversion method shows a good linearity which meets requirement for microcellular personal communication systems. © 2009 IEEE.
