- Abstract
- An all-optical frequency up-converter utilizing a four-wave mixing effect in a semiconductor optical amplifier is experimentally demonstrated. In order to characterize a spurious free dynamic range, the third-order inter-modulation distortion signal power is measured by a two-tone test. The spurious free dynamic range of the photonic frequency up-converter is 81 dB·Hz
