- Abstract
- In this thesis, when a multiple input multiple output (MIMO) system simultane- ously uses one propagation channel in two bands far from the frequency domain, I research a method of estimating a radio channel in another band with a pilot transmit- ted and received in one band and evaluate its performance as an actual measurement. The channel estimator first estimates the complex baseband channel of the band in which the pilot is transmitted and received in the frequency domain, and performs the complex baseband channel estimation of the other band in consideration of the frequency interval between the two bands. Perform performance verification in an in- door channel environment using a channel sounder to confirm the estimation accuracy of the proposed method. It can be used as a basic study to improve the performance of a communication system in which up and down links are decoupled (UL/DL de- coupled) in the future.
