dc.description.abstract | Researchers of Pohang Accelerator Laboratory (PAL) had a plan for inserting 20 Insertion Devices (IDs) at the drift sections of Storage ring of PAL 2 years ago. Storage ring of PAL contains 20 IDs after PLS-II upgrade. ID effects ware checked on PLS-II and Works for reducing ID effects ware performed. First, tune shift and beta beat ware checked on the planned model of arranging devices 2 years ago. Changing rate of emittance, energy spread and dynamic aperture ware checked too. And then, correction of tune on PLS-II was performed. After the correction, reductions of other ID effects ware checked. Model of arranging devices was changed just before construction of PLS-II upgrade. ID effects ware checked again and Correction of tune shift was performed again about the new model. After all, reductions of ID effects about two models ware compared. | en_US |
