- Abstract
- Two 2D metal-organic coordination polymers were synthesized through solvothermal reactions. The formation of 2D supramolecular networks was driven by intermolecular pi-pi stacking interactions between 2,2'bipyridyl units of 1D coordination polymer chains. These 2D networks showed large cavities and windows for encapsulation of guest molecules. The networks showed weak antiferromagnetic exchange interactions at the low temperature.
