| dc.description.abstract | This thesis proposes a chat-oriented dialog system for generating humorous utterances to keep a conversation fun and natural. I present humor generation chat-oriented dialog system architecture and utterance selection method for selecting among candidate humorous utterances. In my approach, I employed a sound-similarity-based humorous generation module and generated humor utterances as a back-off strategy for chat-oriented dialog system. When I applied my method, the dialog system generated humorous utterances and the average of user satisfaction was increased. | en_US |
