- Abstract
- The precipitates identified in as-cast slab were semi-dendritic, dendritic or rod-like Nb-rich (Nb,Ti)(C,N). The morphology and chemistry were different from these precipitates after reheating and/or hot rolling processes. Most Nb and Ti were mainly precipitated into carbonitrides during the isothermal holding at the temperature range from 900 to 1000 degreesC. (C) 2003 Acta Materialia. Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
