- Abstract
- The high temperature creep behaviors of Cr3C2 composite were investigated under compressive and bending creep. The stress exponent and activation energy of Cr3C2 composite were obtained at 1000 and 1050 degrees C. Assuming different tensile and compressive responses in a ceramic material, bending creep responses of Cr3C2 composite were analyzed numerically. The numerical analysis showed that the stress state at the cross-section of a crept sample was redistributed nonlinearly and the neutral axis moved toward the compressive region as the applied stress increased during bending creep.
