- Abstract
- The catalytic hydrogenation of carbon dioxide to methanol over Pd/ZnO catalyst has been studied. The catalyst phase has been examined in depth using several spectroscopic techniques. When reduced above 523 K, ZnOx patches are formed on Pd metal surface by migration of partly reduced ZnOx and are further reduced to Pd-Zn alloys as the reduction temperature is increased.
