Abstract
In part 1, Novel host-free OLED emitter has been successfully synthesized by suzuki coupling reactions between iridium(Ⅲ) bis(2-(4'-bromophenyl)pyridinato-N,C2') (acetylacetonate) and 2-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-7-bromo- dihexyl- benzo- silole and characterized by photoluminescence experiment. Along the conjugation length was extened, the wavelength of photoluminescence was red-shifted. The energy shift of photoluminescence by fluorescence was about 70meV and by phosphorescence was about 120meV. Because Iridium complex has two ligands and each ligand is connected with dihexylbenzosilole moeity, the energy shift in phosphorescent light is larger than that of fluorescent light. In part 2, optical properties of novel organic dye was studied. The organic dye has triphenyl amine group as a donor moiety and cyanoacrylic acid for a acceptor moiety as well. In aggregated state, 430nm peaked light, which is same with radiation from ometad film in a same condition, was emitted by absorbing 320nm sauce light. It is very interesting because the organic dye and ometad have quite different chemical structure. By considering they both have triphenyl moiety, we can easily guess the light is from aggregated and planarized triphenyl pie electrons. And in a some solvents, it showed aggregated light emission not only in solid state. It is function of variety variables to emit the PL in solution state, so the colors of PL in various solutions are quite different depend on concentrations and solvents. Most impressive thing is that the triphenyl moiety couldn't act as a niether energy nor electron donor in a aggregated state. So, it will be a good candidate for evaluation of dye sensitized solar cell using this kind of donor acceptor moiety dye to use PL measurements.
