Colorimetric sensors of which the signal can be read with naked eyes have been developed using AAO/Au nanostructure which exerts plasmonic effects resulting color transition as additional Au which is reduced by glucose is depositied on it. AAO nanostructure platform designed using FEM simulation was 30nm in diameter and 340nm in depth, on which 15nm thick Au layer was covered, leading to the visible color change from green to red. As the simulated structure was fabricated on Al sheet, the colorimetric sensor for the naked-eye sensing was realized, in good agreement with the simulation ones. When 500nM of glucose is presented it showed clear color transition from green to red under 20min.-
