In the last couple of decades, solid-state device technologies, particularly electronic semiconductor devices, have been greatly advanced and investigated for possible adoption in various terahertz (THz) applications, such as imaging, security, and wireless communications. Particularly, there have been several successful experimental demonstrations of multi-tens Gbps wireless communications at THz frequencies. To improve the reliability of the data transmission at various use scene, we need to have better understanding on the radiowave propagation characteristics at these frequencies. In this report, we present early investigation results on THz channel responses for short range wireless communications. © 2018 IEICE-
